TCP/MOR/4001: support for the formulation of a roadmap for the sustainable development of farming and the development of a farming law in Moroccoterms of reference for the development of a legal and regulatory framework for farming in Morocco1. Context of the project mission "support for the formulationof a roadmap for sustainable development of breeding and the development of a farming law in Morocco ", is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests of Morocco and FAO. This project is part of theNational strategy "Generation Green 2020-2030", which aims to modernize and strengthen the sustainability of the Moroccan agricultural sector, in particular the breeding sector, which represents an essential pillar of the country's agricultural economy. The breeding sector in Morocco is confronted with several challenges,In particular the fragmentation of the legislative framework, the vulnerability of small operators in the face of climate change, and the need to adopt more sustainable and resilient practices.
