  • Expression of Interest are invited for Morocco: Supporting women's MSMEs with Optimizing e-commerce and Training e-commerce Advisors This assignment focuses on supporting women's MSMEs to use e-commerce to improve business outcomes in two phases. Phase 1: (1) conduct a scoping and market assessment on the landscape for e-commerce for Moroccan women entrepreneurs, (2) train 100 e-commerce advisors (majority female) to become coaches to womens MSMEs (3) compile a list of 1500 women that could participate in the program, drawing on info from e-commerce platforms, associations, social media marketplaces, MFIs, etc and (4) conduct a pilot on supporting 20 women entrepreneurs with in-kind technical support to optimize e-commerce. Phase 2 involves providing coaching (via the e-commerce advisors) to 900 women and providing in-kind support, based on the Phase 1 pilot learnings, to 400 of the 900. This project will have a World Bank-managed randomized control trial impact evaluation incorporated, so the Contractor will need to coordinate program delivery to comply with methodology. This contract is for Phase 1 only. Full terms of reference will be shared at the request for proposal stage.
