ONEE Water Project Procurement ref: 9629-GPN-43597 Location: Morocco Business sector: Municipal and environmental infrastructure Project number: 43597 Funding source: EBRD Contract type: Project goods, works and services Notice type: General Procurement notices Issue date: 23 Apr 2021 Closing date: 23 Apr 2022 at 23:59 RABAT GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE This General Procurement Noticed updates the General Procurement Noticed updated on 23 April 2021 Office National de l-Électricité et de l-Eau Potable intends using the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development [the Bank] for a project aimed to improve drinking water supply to 3 medium-sized cities and 260 rural communities in the regions of Azilal, Ben Guerir and Ouarzazate, including a nationwide programme for performance improvement. The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of sixty-five 65 million equivalent, will require in the upcoming period the procurement of the following goods, works and services: PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMME The following Consultancy Contracts will be financed from Technical Cooperation Funds: Financial and Operation al Improvement Programme Stakeholder Participation Programme For the aforementioned contracts, the tendering is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2021. For the consultancy contracts, the tendering is expected to commence in the third quarter of 2021. Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and will be open to firms from any country. The proceeds of the Bank's loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the Purchaser's country.
