Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Morocco LNG import infrastructure - Legal Support The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has been approached by the Government of Morocco to assist with its energy transition roadmap that includes renewables and natural gas; and hence to procure an LNG import infrastructure (incl. a regasification unit (on-shore or off-shore); transportation; storage; and distribution system (the “Project”). IFC seeks to hire a legal consultancy firm to support IFC and its government Client with all the legal aspects related to the implementation of the Project including (i) legal due diligence and identification of any constrains regarding the institutional; legal and regulatory framework pertaining to private sector participation in the gas sector in Morocco; (ii) preparation of tender documents; (iii) drafting of the project agreement(s) and other transaction documents; and (iii) assisting in conducting a transparent tender process; including evaluation and award; up until commercial close.
