Expression of Interest are invited for Enhancing Female Businesses' Participation in the Digital Space in Morocco. World Bank is seeking to recruit a highly competent survey firm specializing in surveying a large number of businesses in a context relevant to Morocco. The scope of the work will involve conducting baseline and follow-up surveys of approximately 1500 women businesses in Morocco and collecting periodic data related to e-commerce and social media presence to assess if and to what extent access to e-commerce impacts the business performance of these firms. The WB requires a firm with hands-on solid firm-survey experience in a context that resembles Morocco, strong monitoring, periodic data collection from e-commerce, web, and social media platforms, and follow-up capacity with a large number of women-owned or managed small firms (1500) to conduct this assignment. Firm survey experience in Morocco will be a strong plus. French language fluency will be essential for the assignment. The firm needs to adhere to human subjects protocol (IRB), monitor compliance with a research protocol, and follow the high data collection quality standards that are set forth by international organizations like World Bank, IPA, and J-PAL (spot-checks, back-checks, etc.). This is going to be a multi-year project contingent on the funding availability for different phases.
