Expression of Interest are invited for Debt Funds/Asset Managers Mapping in South Africa and Morocco. Publication Date: 15-Aug-2022 Expression of Interest Deadline: 29-Aug-2022 ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION: - The objective of this project is to conduct a mapping of existing private debt funds and asset managers in South Africa and Morocco. Through this mapping, IFC expects to identify managers and debt funds with characteristics that are in line with the guidelines defined by IFC's Debt Funds Framework to develop investment transactions. IFC is seeking a consultant to work with a team of FIG Upstream staff and conduct: I. A mapping of all relevant asset managers willing to grow on debt financing and debt funds with whom IFC could potentially work and invest in South Africa and Morocco. The consultant will also include a mapping of regional debt funds or asset managers that can invest in the two countries. II. The consultant will also do a mapping/scoping of potential investors to validate demand for this type of asset class from pension funds, insurance companies, etc. The selected consultant will be expected to find relevant sources of information, conduct desktop research and interviews with all relevant stakeholders.
